Encouraging Faith Theological University seeks to train and prepare godly, proven, and passionate men and women. Therefore, admission into the our program's is predicated upon the following: The applicant must be a man or woman who gives evidence of the gifts and call to ministry demonstrated by a measure of effectiveness and fruitfulness in a local church context prior to acceptance. The applicant must be a person who lives under Christ's Lordship in submission to the will of God and obedience to the Word of God. He must be a person of proven character, recognized by others as faithful in their responsibilities. This individual must have a servant's heart demonstrated by their commitment to their family and the church they attend. These characteristics will be evaluated through the application reference forms.
Applicants who desire to attend EFTU must maintain a 2.0 grade point average (on a 4.0 system) throughout their entire program in order to graduate. Students in this program must complete the equivalent of two years or less (60 semester units each).
Transfer credit will not be granted for work unsupported by an official transcript. Bible, Ministry, and Theology courses from other institutions will be evaluated on the basis of similarity of course content and grade earned (no course is transferable if the grade earned is less than a "C"). Transcripts for all required classes must be received before the student will be eligible for graduation. Students not meeting minimum GPA requirements may be admitted on probationary basis.
